About this role

Belmar Health is looking to hire a highly strategic Revenue Cycle Manager leader to oversee all issues Revenue Cycle related and help engineer unique strategies and processes for our partner practices. 

The RCM leader's responsibilities include identifying patient reimbursement issues, ensuring that claims, denials, and appeals are efficiently processed, and resolving billing-related issues in a fashion that's strategic for our partner practices. You should also be able to code diagnoses and procedures correctly.

To be successful as a Revenue Cycle leader of innovation, you should be able to manage both staff and patient complaints. Ultimately, a top-performing Revenue Cycle leader should seek ways to improve the functions of the Revenue Cycle for our partners in a way that advantages their outcome.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing innovative systems to ensure that accurate billing information is entered into the billing system.
• Supervising Revenue Cycle improvements in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.
• Managing internal performance and progress on RCM by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
• Advising on financial hardship applications.
• Overseeing the hiring and training of new RCM staff 
• Efficiently managing protocol for patient complaints in respect of billing and collections.
• Planning and structuring workflow and staffing.
• Improving the process for correctly coding diagnoses and procedures.

Requirements:

• 6+ years managing RCM in a health system setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well top 10 EMR software.
• Proven experience in healthcare billing.
• Sound knowledge of health insurance providers.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
